Q: How do I know my order has been received?
A: Immediately after you submit your order and it is processed, you will see a thank you message. You will also receive an email of your order. You can also monitor your purchase by clicking on My Account to see a summary of your purchases and their status.

Q: Do you gift wrap orders?
A: Yes, we offer gift wrap for $1.99 per item. You will select this option at the same time you select other attributes. Please note that gift wrap is not returnable.

Q: What is the delivery status of my order?
A: Login to petitechic.ca and click on My Account to view your order status as well as information about the order. You can also send an Email to customerservice@petitcehic.ca and we will provide you with the Canada Post item number. You can track your package online at Canada Post

Q: What do you accept as methods of payment?
A: We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards as payment for orders. All funds must be received by us before order is shipped.

Q: What taxes do you charge?
A: We are required to collect a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 5% on all sales shipped within Canada. Shipments to Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick are subject to the 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). Shipments to Nova Scotia are subject to the 15% HST. And, shipments to British Columbia are subject to the 12% HST.

The governments of British Columbia, Ontario and Nova Scotia have exempted children's apparel from the provincial portion of the HST. Shipments made to customers in these provinces will receive an automatic HST rebate at time of purchase.

Q: When is my credit card charged?
A: Your credit card will be charged as soon as you click submit on the site.

Q: Do you ship to international addresses?
A: At this time we ship only to Canada and the United States. Shipments to the USA can be delayed due to customs regulations. Customs fees, taxes and duties which may be charged to orders shipped to the USA are the responsibility of the customer.

Q: Can I send gifts to multiple "ship to" addresses?
A: We can only accommodate one "ship to" address per order. To send gifts to multiple addresses you will have to complete each order separately.

Q: How do I take care of my jewelry and keep it clean?
A: Avoid contact with water/liquid that contains chemical agents such as chlorine, bleach, perfumes, hair spray etc. (dishes, swimming, bathing etc.). The chemicals in these environments are detrimental to the appearance and longevity of the components comprising your new jewelry.

Avoid pulling or tugging on your new jewelry. Our beaded jewelry is strung on the strongest jewelry wire available in our industry and is typically able to withstand many pounds of pressure. However, over time this wire can stretch out and become dirty. This will weaken the strength of the wire and may lead to the wire breaking.

Using the strongest beaded jewelry wire available in our industry, we take every effort to produce a piece of jewelry that will last for quite a long time. However, the wire on which the jewelry is strung will eventually need to be replaced. We recommend restringing your jewelry at least once every 6 months. And as a service to you we will be glad to do this for you for a nominal fee. Simply mail back your jewelry to us and we will restring it for you so you can continue to enjoy your piece for many years to come.

Cleaning – It is very important that you clean your jewelry on a regular basis. This will prevent the sterling silver from tarnishing. Jewelry cloths are excellent for removing tarnish from sterling silver. You should wipe your pieces down regularly to prevent tarnish from developing and permanently damaging your jewelry. Liquid cleaners are acceptable for sterling silver components but should never be used on pearls, crystals, or other semi-precious stones (always follow directions from the manufacturer). You may also wash your jewelry with warm water and a mild soap. Be sure to thoroughly dry your jewelry with a soft cloth, never an abrasive surface.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We currently reside in Uxbridge, ON.

Q: Do you have a wholesale program?
A: Yes we do. We typically receive 3 or 4 requests every month from interested businesses that want to carry our products. If you would like to sell our products, please drop us an email and we will supply you with further information sales@petitechic.ca.

Q: Can you make special orders or make bracelets in a way that I might have in mind?
A: We are often asked to make certain bracelets with a little different bead pattern or component than is typical for that style. And we are glad to accommodate you if the request is within our ability to satisfy you. Email or call if you have a specific question.

Q: What do I do if the bracelet doesn't fit anymore or has broken?
A: Please see our restringing and return policies below.

Resizing
There are some occasions when a bracelet will need to be re-sized. Perhaps the little girl isn't so little anymore but she still wants her special bracelet. Or occasionally an order is placed and the wrong size is requested. To keep from having to purchase another bracelet altogether, re-sizing is a less expensive option. Below is a chart which displays our current policy on resizing bracelets.

Unfortunately, there are some limitations on re-sizing. For example, if the bracelet is ruined or damaged, re-sizing may not be an option. The reason is that in order to re-size an existing bracelet, new beads will have to be added to the old beads. And if the existing beads are in generally poor condition, the new beads will not match the aesthetics of the old. Therefore, it would be best to not re-size the bracelet.

  • Babies (up to 6”) Cost $6.00 per strand
  • Adults (over 6”) cost $8.00 per strand
  • Shipping $4.50

Re-sizing example costs:

  • Baby bracelet = $6.00(re-sizing) + $4.50 (shipping) = $10.50
  • Adult 2 strand = $16.00(re-sizing) + $4.50(shipping) = $20.50

Q: How long will it take to ship my order?
A: Due to recent nationwide publicity and the nature of custom designs, most orders ship in less than 3 weeks. We make every effort to ship your order as soon as humanly possible!

Q: What if I have a problem with my item?
A: We most certainly hope you will not have any problems but realistically things do happen. If you do experience an unexpected problem, please contact customerservice@petitechic.ca. We will make every effort to correct the problem or replace the item. I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and your experience with Petite Chic.

Q: How do I know what size bracelet to order?
A: A safe measurement is to add 1 to 1.5 inches to your wrist size. You can also look at our sizing chart for approximate sizes according to age.

Q: Do you have an 1-800-number?
A: No, but you can reach us free of charge by e-mailing us at customerservice@petitechic.ca.

Q: Do you have a printed catalog?
A: Not at this time.

Q: Why are your prices so high?
A: I feel that my prices are very competitive for the quality materials and workmanship that goes into each design. I buy only from reputable suppliers and use the highest quality materials available. For example, all of my crystals and pearls are genuine Swarovski and my sterling silver is flawless. The name bracelets are made using 5.6mm alphabet blocks for the adult bracelets and 4.5mm alphabet blocks for the child bracelets while a lot of my competitors use the smaller 4.5mm alphabet blocks for all bracelets. A lot of designers cut costs by using sterling silver "PLATED" beads or even use smaller "filler" beads for their designs. There have even been incidences where an item was purchased and when it was received by the customer it was very different from the "advertised" product. Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: Petitechic.ca fully respects your privacy. Any personal information I collect from you is strictly for the purpose of processing your order and will not be sold or otherwise given out under any circumstance.

Q: What are your hours?
A: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST. Saturday 10am to 2:00 pm. We are closed for major holidays.

Q: Do you have Express Overnight Shipping Available? I Need to receive my order by tomorrow for a Baby Shower
A: Yes! We offer Express Overnight shipping for many items we have in stock for orders within Canada.

If you need Express shipping please send an email to customerservice@petitechic.ca ASAP after you have placed your order, if your order qualifies for Express Shipping, we will adjust your order with the added shipping charges for Overnight delivery and email you the delivery confirmation number.
